University of Oregon Cinema Studies: Exploring Music Video – Equipment Demo

This is a video demo of the new film equipment that our teacher, Andre Sirois AKA DJ Foodstamp purchased for our CINE 399 class: Exploring Music Video. Everything from a steady cam to a pocket dolly to a full on dolly and crane. Extremely fun class. We’re learning a lot about music video structure and aesthetic as well as how to operate all of this equipment and utilize it effectively. I would highly recommend the course, which is in its very first year at the U of O. The students absolutely loved working with all of the gear. What better way to motivate than to have a ton of brand new film equipment at your fingertips?
